What We Create
Feature films
Starting with our first feature-length film, THE ARTIST'S HANDS, we aim to create character-driven stories about flawed people, hard choices, faith, failure, healing, and the journey toward becoming whole.
Comedy
From a man who thinks his reflection is some stranger, to a woman who takes the question "Do you validate?" as an invitation to raise customers' self-esteem, our comedy short films have Aaron Wilson's unique sense of humor, wrapped around a deeper message.
Short Films
Ranging in genre from Ghost-Story to Western, TRANSCEND has created four short films so far with scripts for more, ranging in theme from Redemption to "don't let time pass you by."
Story Video-Essays
Our flagship YouTube series, FACETS OF STORY, explores theme, character, story structure, creativity, and the craft of meaningful storytelling.

THE
ARTIST'S HANDS
THE ARTIST'S HANDS is the story of a perfectionist artist who, through the help of his poet girlfriend, learns that his flaws are not his DEATH, but proof of truly LIVING by reaching beyond his grasp. Our first feature film, currently in post-production, explores perfectionism, creativity, faith, love, failure, and the courage to create even when the work and the artist remain unfinished.

Transcend's Storytelling
Redemption Songs
Hi, my name is Aaron Wilson, writer, director, and founder of TRANSCEND ENTERTAINMENT.I believe storytelling is a power, one that can be used as poison or medicine. With my projects, I strive to create the latter.During film school, I often felt like I was swimming against the tide, not just creatively, but in life itself. Alongside that came years of mental health struggles that continued long after college. But over time, I began to realize that the very burdens that wound us can also deepen us, teaching lessons that cannot be learned any other way.If those struggles taught me anything, it is this: the only thing I truly have to give is myself. My experiences have helped me empathize not only with other people, but with the characters I write. Even when their struggles are different from my own, I understand what it means to feel lost, afraid, broken, hopeful, searching...I believe stories give us keys to carry these burdens. They can remind us who we are, help us endure, and point us toward something higher.Borrowing the words of Bob Marley, I believe every good story is, in some way or another, a “redemption song.”
We Transcend:
Our Creative Philosophy

TRANSCEND is built around making every contribution count on screen. We put story, character, and emotional impact first, using our resources with intention instead of excess. We believe focused creative choices often lead to stronger storytelling. Limitations force you to think harder, choose better, and find the story beneath the spectacle. Some of the most memorable choices in film history came from focused creative problem-solving: the unseen shark in Jaws, the practical imagination of the original Star Wars. For us, good filmmaking is about choosing what matters, cutting what does not, and building each project with discipline, imagination, and heart.
Help Build Transcend:
PAtreon

TRANSCEND is not a one-film experiment. It is the independent studio Aaron is building for the long haul: a home for stories that turn hard experience into meaningful, redemptive films that stay with you long after the credits roll.Patreon is how this continues: how our films get made, how our stories get told, and how TRANSCEND grows into something bigger than one project at a time.Your support helps us make the next film, share the process, and keep creating stories outside the usual system. Come behind the scenes, stay with us for the next story, and help build what comes next.Join our journey. TRANSCEND with us.
Thank you
To all those who have donated to TRANSCEND's past projects and who have put such faith in us to fulfill our creative mission.
